Music - new releases and restocks

This limited edition vinyl box set compiles the entire 10 volume ‘Special Herbs’ series, much of which has never before been available on wax, all in metallic ilver jackets. In addition, the box includes an exclusive Doom poster, a download card for the entire ‘Special Herbs’ plus 10 additional Doom beats, and a bonus 7" with two more instrumentals from the metal-faced producer. Unlike 2006's 3CD mix, this collection contains all the beats in their full, original form, making it the definitive Doom instrumental anthology.

THE GAS are Apollo Brown + Journalist 103 + DJ Soko

A new Detroit classic from producer Apollo Brown who composes a smokey, rust riddled trip through the soul of Detroit. A lush sonic cityscape that layers piano over haunting samples and pits Journalist 103s narrative word play against DJ SoKos cuts. The Left is the sound of Detroit and along for the ride are Guilty Simpson, Finale, MarvWon, Paradime, Invincible, Kool G Rap, Frank West and Mu.

Frank Nitt of Frank-n-Dank, has teamed up with L.A. rap dons for a six-track EP that transcends styles, proving that he holds the verbal dexterity to rock over any beat.

This highly anticipated album contains the lyrical mastery fans have come to expect aligned with a handpicked sonic attack of soulful rhythms and classic b-boy beats designed to introduce a new generation of fans to the Hip Hop genius internationally known as Black Sheep. The album also boasts of features including Q-Tip, Dave The Trugoy, Mike Gee, Rhyme Fest, Psycho Les, AZ, Jean Grae, and Rosie Perez.

Visionaries member Dannu just released his long awaited solo debut Virgo Summer featuring production by Exile, DJ Rhettmatic, Mr. Brady and more.

Smugglin Booze from the Graveyard is the second of two now legendary street tapes that were intended originally to spread the word about the West Coast Wu lyrical giant, Holocaust, by this time renamed Warcloud to galvanize a fanbase for his officially released albums that never actually happened. And so these compilations of earthshattering lyrical styles and tripped-out grimey beats became the only standing testimonials to the true greatness of this underground artist. Featured here alongside him are The Black Knights, Da Monstar Mob, ShoGun Assason and Juleunique. The producer and creator of most of this incredible music is none other than Skarekrow, of Monstar Mob. Rza, Shogun Assason, Cilvaringz and 4th Disciple are also represented on some tracks. Included on this first time ever "official" release, is a bonus track of previously unreleased material featuring Da Monstar Mob with Warcloud.
